All Moved In

Boy, has it been a long week and a half. A week ago Sunday, we were busy unloading and unpacking box after box after box. Yuck. We are so over this whole moving thing.Thank goodness we won't have to move again for two years. So we're getting settled into our new place. Its exhausting to have to have to find a new home for everything. We have a lot of stuff. So here's a quick recap of everything that's been happening... Forgive me for the lack of apartment pictures, once its looking way cleaner I'll post them. ;-)

So Derrick and Amit decided they wanted to play some Rockband before we moved out of our old place last weekend. I thought it'd be a great excuse for me to hang out with Annie, Derrick and Mel's beautiful little girl. Turns out, she thinks Amit is the funniest guy in the world (after her Daddy, of course)!
Sunday the 1st was moving day. We owe Seth, Kirsten, Derrick, and Mel big time!! We couldn't (probably wouldn't) have moved without their help! There were a ton of boxes to go through and we still aren't even done. Check out what our living room looked like on Sunday night.
We gave ourselves a week to get cleaned up, organized, and unpacked. The best part of our new apartment, for us, is the backyard. Amit has wanted his own grill for years and now he has one!! We wanted to have everyone over to grill and hang out for the evening, so thankfully John and Tamsen let us use their van to bring the grill home from the store! The food was delicious and it was nice to have an evening not spent unpacking!
Annie enjoyed yet another dental school family get together. She's pretty funny and doesn't want to miss a thing. She's got some great facial expressions, too.
The other night, after spending more free time unpacking, we wandered over to Needham Center and grabbed some cupcakes from Treat Cupcake Bar. They were delicious!!! Definitely one of the best cupcakes that I've had in a long time.
We still have a ways to go in order to get organized, but the apartment is coming together nicely. We're looking forward to spending this weekend in New Hampshire just relaxing. No boxes involved.
PS - I promise to send out cards with our new address on them, as soon as I get my act together.
